down under (two)

The second and last batch of photos taken in Melbourne and Brisbane during wintertime.
One of the highlights of the trip was Puffing Billy - this is the name of an old steam train which operates on a mountain track in the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne. I felt like I was living a century ago, when it was first put into use. The last stop was Gembrook, where we scoffed down tea and scones, and watched the unusual birds by the stream.
Brisbane was equally exciting as Melbourne - just with more sun :) We spent most of our time cycling along Brisbane River and soaking up the rays!

singapore!

I always love going to Singapore for a short holiday because there's so much to do - Universal Studios, Orchard Road, hawker centers, East Coast Park... My brother and I had such a good time devouring our char siew and wonton noodle. I also love the World War history between Great Britain and Singapore, which allows for precious time spent into attractions such as Fort Siloso.
